Live-in Care Services

Our Live-In Care Services offer dedicated, around-the-clock support in the comfort of your loved one’s home, creating a safe, consistent, and comforting environment. With a live-in caregiver, you benefit from fewer caregiver rotations, often involving just 1-3 dedicated caregivers, unlike hourly care that may require up to ten. This continuity enhances the quality of care and strengthens the caregiver-client relationship.
Key Advantages of Live-In Care:
  • Continuous Presence: Live-in caregivers are always available in case of an emergency, eliminating delays, commuting issues, or absences.
  • Cost-Effective Flat Rate: Live-in care is offered at a daily flat rate rather than an hourly one, making it a more affordable solution for 24-hour care needs.
  • Enhanced Security: With a consistent presence, caregivers can provide immediate assistance when needed, promoting a safer and more secure living environment.
Requirements for Live-In Caregivers:
Our live-in caregivers require a private room with a bed and TV to unwind, as well as the ability to share meals with the client. They should also be able to sleep through the night, with the flexibility to assist the client once or twice if necessary.
Training and Expertise:
Our live-in caregivers undergo rigorous training and certification, including options such as Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualifications. Continuing education and specialized training in areas like cardiac care and stroke recovery further enhance the level of expertise and care quality we provide.
Cost of Live-In Care:
  • Hourly Care Rates: $22–$35 per hour
  • Live-In Care Rates: $250–$400 per day (rates vary by care needs and region, with East Coast services typically on the higher end)
For a detailed look at care costs in your area, the MetLife Cost of Care Survey provides valuable insights into home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and daycare costs by state.
Ways to Pay for Live-In Care:

We accept multiple payment methods to support your family’s needs:

  • Out-of-Pocket: Personal payments via check, credit card, or cash
  • Long-Term Care Insurance: Coverage may apply for certain clients
  • Veterans Aid and Attendance: Available for eligible veterans and their spouses (learn more through our resources)

Note: Medicare generally does not cover non-medical home care services, but some private insurances may offer reimbursement. We encourage you to explore these options with your provider.

Our Live-In Care Services provide personalized, compassionate care while preserving the comfort and familiarity of home. Contact us to discuss how we can support your loved one’s unique needs with tailored, 24-hour care.
