Lesson Subject: HOW TO STAY STRONG<\/strong><\/p>

Lesson Scripture: Joshua 1:7-9 (NLT),<\/strong><\/p>

7 \u201cBe strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do.<\/p>

8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.<\/p>

9. This is my command \u2013 be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go!\u201c<\/p>

1. BE STRONG AND VERY COURAGEOUS v. 7<\/strong><\/p>

~Deuteronomy 31:6, \u201cBe strong and of a good courage, fear not for the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee, He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.\u201d<\/p>

2. OBEY GOD\u2019S COMMANDS v. 7<\/strong><\/p>

~1 John 5: 3 \u201cFor this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.\u201d<\/p>

3. STUDY GOD\u2019S WORD<\/strong>\u00a0v. 8<\/strong><\/p>

~2 Timothy 2:15, \u201cStudy to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word truth.\u201d<\/p>

~2 Timothy 3:16, \u201cEvery scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.\u201d<\/p>
