Bible Study Lesson for April 8, 2020
Lesson Subject: “Choosing Wisely”
Lesson Scripture: Deuteronomy 30: 15, 16, 19.
Deuteronomy 30:15,  “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 In that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.”
19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you, life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” We make all types of choices throughout our lives.  These choices are sometimes simple, while there are others more complicated.
But in our lesson’s scripture, we are commanded that in order to choose wisely we must:*Love The Lord~Deuteronomy 6:5, “And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”
~Matthew 6:24, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

*Walk In His Way
~Zechariah 3:7, “ Thus saith the Lord of host,; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and thou wilt keep my charge then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts and I will give places to walk among these that stand by.”~Psalm 37:23, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
25 I have been young, and now am old;
yet have I not seen the righteousforsakennor his seed begging bread.

*Keep His Commandments, His Statues, and His Judgements    ~Psalm 78:7,  “That they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments.”
~Deuteronomy 6:1, “These are the commandments and statutes and ordinances that the LORD your God has instructedme to teach youto follow in the land you are about to enter and possess,   So that you and your children and grandchildren may fear the LORD your God all the days of your lives by keeping all His statutes and commandments that I give you, and so that your days may be prolonged.”
